as the Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement will cease ownership
of the Washington Retreat House after December 31, 2024.

The Scripture, John 19:30, says Jesus prayed from the cross: “It is finished.” And bowing
his head, he handed over His spirit.” The hushed stillness and silence overwhelms. At that
moment, the finality crushes. Now, we know the Risen Christ is with us always and Jesus’
Spirit blesses us.

This is our Paschal journey: to believe in the life, death and Resurrection of Jesus.
And, we do believe!

Yes, FAITH brings us together each year to WATCH, PRAY, REMEMBER and
BELIEVE the Mystery of Risen Life. HOPE gives us the energy to believe. LOVE blesses
us with NEW LIFE.

2024 HOLY TRIDUUM DAYS OPTIONS:

#2. Holy Thursday to Easter is the Full Retreat: $275 with RSVP

You will experience the all the individual reflection sessions, engage the silence and
enter the Sacred Liturgies!! This covers 3 overnights, all 9 meals for your stay, ending with
an Easter Sunday lunch. Presentations from Fr. Horace Grinnell. For more details or any

#3 Individual Retreat Day Sessions with lunch or supper: $20 each. (RSVP)
Choose which DAY you’d like to incorporate into your Holy Week journey

• Thursday: Watch with Me – Quiet Adoration from 3-7 pm.
(RSVP for a simple supper at 5 p.m., $20);

Holy Thursday Liturgy at 7 p.m..
Followed by SILENT ADORATION UNTIL 11 p.m.

• Friday: Walk with Me – Good Friday Adoration begins at 9 a.m.; Noon, lunch;

Good Friday Liturgy at 3 p.m.

The Seven Last Words Service are prayed as an intricate part of the Retreat
at different times throughout the day.

• Saturday: Rise with Me – Holy Saturday Adoration begins at 9 a.m.

Saturday from 9-9pm. RSVP for lunch and supper, $40
