Let’s travel with Mary this season to help alleviate our own expectations in these uncertain times to meet the “God of Surprises”, and to cling to the sure expectation that our salvation has and is coming in the form of baby. Jesus, the Christ child.

Themes:

• Ever wonder what Mary was expecting as she said “yes” to the angel Gabriel? (Luke 1:26-38)
• What was she expecting when she informed Joseph of her pregnancy? (Matthew 1:18-25)
• When it came time to deliver, what was she expecting then? (Luke 2:1-20)
• When the shepherds and Magi visited, did she expect it? (Luke 2:15-20,Matt.2:9-11)

Gardner received her bachelor’s in Theology from Boston College and her masters in Counseling Psychology from the Adler Institute. Traveling with Mary was her first book. A strong proponent of simplifying spirituality and prayer, she resides in New Jersey with her husband and eight children.
